HCC Adult Education Staff Member to Present at Statewide Conference

FREEPORT—Highland Community College Adult Education Coordinator of Instructional Services, Jerelyn Forman, has been selected to present at the Illinois Adult and Continuing Educators Association Annual Statewide Conference held March 4 through March 6, in Springfield, IL.

Ms. Foreman will speak on the topic of retention in adult education in her presentation titled, Small Changes to Make a Big Impact – “Tools” for Connection and Retention. “At HCC we have implemented some practices with the goal of improving student retention and connections within our Adult Education community”, according to Ms. Foreman. “This has been helpful in providing adult learners with enhanced life skills.”
