Kim Goudreau, sociology instructor: B.S. in anthropology, Illinois State University; M.A. in sociology, Southern Illinois University.
When Kim Goudreau isn’t leading a class lecture, he is often researching the critical analysis of the impact of technology on culture and social institutions. Kim is an active member and presenter for the National Association for the Study of Science, Technology, and Society. Several scholarly journals have published his research articles. Kim has also been active in several College programs and committees. He traveled to the Netherlands as part of a faculty exchange program, he served as vice president to the Faculty Senate, was the chair to the Global Task Force, and was an advisor to the campus newspaper. Currently he is co-advisor to the Prairie Wind, an award-winning campus literary magazine fluoxetine, and co-coordinator of regional Young Poets Contest. Kim has taught at Highland since 1989.
